Job Details

If you are looking for a career in fundraising, you are confident and able to interact with high profile supporters and would like to be part of the extraordinary work we do here at Helen & Douglas House, then we would love to hear from you.

Our amazing children’s hospice in Oxford relies on public support to fund its work and we need a Trusts and Major Donor Fundraising Executive to take on the development and stewardship of a significant income stream.  We are looking for a confident and articulate individual with great relationship building and communication skills to work with high profile supporters and also cross functionally across the wider Fundraising team, to help grow our income from trusts, foundations and major donors who regularly support Helen & Douglas House in order to raise vital funds to care for terminally ill children.

The work you do will make a significant contribution to the lives of terminally ill children, so if you’re looking for a role where you can actually see the difference you make then Helen & Douglas House could be the place for you.  Without a great team of staff and volunteers we could not provide the level of care and support that we do.  If you are looking for a rewarding and leading position in a friendly and fun team and you have the skills and experience for this supporter stewardship role, we want to hear from you.

You will be responsible for

  •          Managing relationships with a portfolio of supporters who give regularly
  •          Supporting the planning and delivery of our major donor supporter events
  •          Leading major donor supporter tours in partnership with other colleagues
  •          Preparing presentations and reports for donors which demonstrates the impact of their giving
  •          Tracking income and expenditure in the trust and major donors team
  •          Desk research to develop our portfolio of supporters
  •          Keeping our donor database updated

This is a great position if you are considering a role in charity fundraising.  You would be reporting to the Senior Major Giving Manager and interacting regularly with the wider fundraising and events team.

For further details please see the job description and if you have any questions about the role please email recruitment@helenanddouglas.org.uk or call the Human Resources team on 01865 794749.

Please complete the application process through the Helen & Douglas website only.  Unfortunately we cannot accept any CVs by email or via other websites/job boards.

Please note the closing date for applications is midnight on Sunday 8th July, 2018.
