A homelessness charity based in London is looking for a Digital Communications and Marketing Officer.

Working on a full-time, permanent basis, you will be responsible for managing and developing social media channels; day-to-day management and development of the website; leading on marketing and communications; managing the delivery of e-mail communications; developing content and stories.

  • Manage the delivery and development of digital channels including emails communications, website and social media channels, including supporting at events with live communications
  • Produce content for use across all platforms including digital, print and verbal
  • Monitor, analyse and produce a report on website, social media and digital communications analytics on a monthly basis, use analytics to inform future activity
  • Manage content library and ensure that permissions are adhered to
  • Respond to requests for information and materials from partner organisations or individuals
  • Monitor press coverage and maintain an archive of press cuttings
  • Assist Communications and Marketing Manager with general press activity including writing press releases
  • Keep abreast of developments in the homelessness, general charity, and property sectors
  • Present and share data, opinions and news, and use to inform our work

Essential requirements:

  • At least 1 years experience working in a marketing or communications role, preferably within the charity sector
  • Demonstrable experience of producing content for digital platforms including web, social media and email communications
  • Demonstrable experience of managing a website, preferably using Drupal
  • Excellent copy writing skills and strong editorial capabilities
  • Ability to effectively engage and with external stakeholders including corporate partners, charities and consultants
