Videre- Finance Manager

Harris Hill are proud to be partnering with Videre to help recruit for their ethically minded but creative Finance Manager.
Who is Videre?

Videre is an international charity that is on a mission to combat and expose human-rights abuses by empowering individuals to film these atrocities.
Videre is a cutting-edge, fast-growing, international organisation that maximises the power of technology to achieve justice. They give local activists the equipment, training and support needed to safely gather verified video evidence of human rights violations and effectively distribute it to those who can create change. As a result of their actions, perpetrators have been brought to trial and their means of oppression exposed to millions of viewers worldwide. It has empowered oppressed communities to expose human rights violations to millions around the world and deter their repetition. With visible influence, this small outfit is uncommonly high-impact and benefits from an esteemed international reputation.

Based in London, Videre consists of a small but highly dedicated team. They are committed to making a difference and are looking for a candidate with the same vision.

How does the Finance Manager contribute to Videre's work?

The Finance Manager will play a key role in the day-to-day running of Videre's financial programmes. If successful you will assist with the financial planning, managing finance workflows, processing financial requests, analysing & creating organisational and project budgets and enforcing policies & procedures.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have a professional accountancy qualification and/or significant experience (3 years or more) working within a charity/international not-for-profit organisation.

The ideal candidate will also be a confident speaker with effective inter-personal skills in order to establish collaborative relationships with senior management and other stakeholders. You will be highly organised and have a high attention to accuracy and detail. Ability, willingness and flexibility to 'muck in' and respond to a range of diverse environments is also crucial. You will be joining a dynamic, collaborative team, who are motivated by the cause so the ability to be a tactical, self-starter is vital.

If you feel you meet the above criteria, please do apply and if you are shortlisted you will be contacted directly by the consultant.

Please get in touch before the closing date to avoid disappointment.

If you would like to apply for this role, please send your CV and supporting statement to belton.bass@harrishill.co.uk.
Closing date for applications: 9.00am Friday 29th June 2018
