Company

The Air Ambulance Service (TAAS) is a dynamic, forward thinking organisation. We exist to prevent loss of life and alleviate sickness through the provision of a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) and a children's transfer service.

The Air Ambulance Service is the umbrella organisation for:

The Children's Air Ambulance

A national bespoke helicopter transfer service for seriously ill children who need moving safely and quickly between hospitals for specialist care. TAAS took over The Children's Air Ambulance in December 2011 and will see the service in action in 2012.

Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance (WNAA)

WNAA provides a Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) to the counties of Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and the Milton Keynes area. The service's main purpose is to prevent loss of life, relieve sickness and aid recovery to those in need across the entire operating area.

Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA)

DLRAA also provides a HEMS to the counties of Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland. It's main aim is exactly the same as WNAA - to prevent loss of life, relieve sickness and aid recovery to those in need across the entire operating area.
