The Royal Foundation of St Katharine, a major Christian charity which runs a retreat and conference centre in Limehouse, East London, wishes to appoint a Secretary to the Court (of Trustees)

This is a part-time post requiring on average about 30 hours work per month. The Secretary to Court is expected to provide a comprehensive and professional secretariat service to the Court and its two principal committees, as well as being Company Secretary to the Foundation’s subsidiary trading company. This involves attending some 20 meetings per year in London. Most of the other work can be done from home.

The post requires an experienced governance professional, ideally in the charity sector, with excellent writing and communication skills and the ability to work without close supervision.
