We have a fantastic opportunity for an exceptional candidate to join our growing Corporate Partnerships team at WWF, supporting the organisation to manage, develop and grow new and existing corporate partnerships.  Our Corporate Partnership team secures and manages a growing portfolio of partnerships that seek to transform the way that businesses operate, raise vital funds for conservation work, and help us engage audiences to build support for our mission.  Current corporate partners include Sky, HSBC, Coca-Cola, Thai Union Europe, Sodexo, AB InBev, Mondi, Unilever, Marks & Spencer, and Hull City Tigers.

About WWF

WWF is the world’s largest conservation organisation, with a mission to actively restore nature. The changes affecting the natural world are happening at a pace and scale unprecedented in human history and since 1970 wildlife populations have fallen by over half. WWF is working to make nature matter – to both protect the iconic species we share our planet with and to ensure health and long-term security for people.

To achieve our mission WWF is working to create a movement for nature, ensuring that the value of nature is recognised and that people are acting differently to restore nature to its best. Working with business is at the heart of our strategy, and we are focused on building partnerships that help us advocate for change, reach and engage new audiences alongside securing funding for conservation and transforming business operations.

Corporate Partnership Development Executive – The Role

The Corporate Partnership Development Unit is responsible for securing new strategic corporate partnerships that help WWF work towards our vision in which people and nature thrive.

The Corporate Partnership Development Executive will support the team by undertaking research to identify opportunities from a range of sectors, preparing creative and compelling pitches and proposals to major corporate prospects and carrying out comprehensive due diligence to help inform high quality papers for senior management on prospective engagements.

Supporting the team on range of projects, from UK based initiatives to global partnership opportunities, you will be required to collaborate with colleagues both in the UK and across the WWF network of international offices.

You will manage your own portfolio of small to medium sized prospects, making approaches, building relationships and attending meetings, networking events and conferences as required.

Corporate Partnership Development Executive - Requirements

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have experience of new business or relationship management in a commercial or charity setting and have an understanding of how companies interface with charities / NGOs. Previous fundraising experience is desirable.

You will possess excellent networking, communication, planning and presentation skills. A strong team player you will have an ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation and have a proactive, results driven approach. You will show a commitment to the values of WWF and a passion for meeting WWF objectives. Background knowledge of sustainability and conservation is desirable.

Please apply via the link if you feel your skills and experience meet the requirements of this position. We look forward to receiving your application.

Closing Date: 08/07/2018

At WWF-UK we are committed to creating an inclusive working environment, where diversity is valued and there is equality of opportunity. We therefore welcome applications from all sections of the community and we offer a range of benefits to encourage a work life balance.

Company

Best known as the world’s leading conservation body, we’ve seen first-hand how wildlife, the environment and human activity are all interlinked.

That’s why our passion for safeguarding the natural world has to be backed up by other environmental action – tackling the global threat of climate change (through our big global campaigns like Earth Hour) and helping people to change the way they live to ease pressure on natural resources.

WWF is at the heart of global activities in all these areas. We have teams of highly skilled professionals working with governments, businesses and communities here in the UK and around the world.
