About the role 
The People Partner will work as an HR Business Partner to our Policy and Communications, Supporter Engagement, Finance and Resources and Sense International teams, you will be responsible for delivering a proactive, customer focused and generalist Human Resource service to leadership teams. You will support our leaders in developing high performing and engaged teams and will coach and train managers to enable them to get the best from their people.

This role includes providing the HR support to our international charity, Sense International, with programmes operating in South America, East Africa, Europe and Asia. The HR People Partner will work with the Director of Sense International to develop, plan and deliver the SI People Strategy.

In addition, you will take on organisation wide projects and as a member of our HR management team contribute to developing and implementing our People Strategy.

About you 
You will be keen to develop your HR career in a charity like ours that supports people with complex communication needs to be understood, connected and valued and you will be committed to making a real and positive difference to the lives of the people we support.

Ideally CIPD qualified, you will be positive, proactive, focused and enthusiastic, so that you are able to engage and motivate managers and colleagues to deliver excellent services.  You will be able to demonstrate the ability to provide high quality advice in complex situations and will have a proven knowledge of employment law. You will have worked with international teams or be willing to learn more about international development. Your experience will be complimented by excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a demanding workload of competing priorities.
