Support Coordinator

Position: Support Coordinator 
Location: Leeds, home based (North Zone) 
Job Type: Part Time, Permanent (Their services are contracted; they currently have funding for this contract until 31 March 2019) 
Hours: 30 hours per week 
Salary: circa £19,500 per annum

About the role: 

This is an exciting opportunity to work with stroke survivors and their families to support them following stroke. 

They are looking for innovative, passionate and professional individuals with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills to join their Stroke Recovery Service team in Leeds, based at home. 

The services aim to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers across the stroke pathway, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes. A key part of the role will be to recruit, train and manage a team of volunteers, to support service users and the delivery of the service. 

About you: 

Applicants are likely to have a background in a caring profession ideally with experience of supporting people with disabilities. 

Excellent IT skills, a flexible approach to your role, use of a car with business cover and the ability to drive are essential requirements for the role. 

You may have experience of the following: Stroke Recovery Service Coordinator, Support Coordinator, Service Coordinator, Health Care, Stroke Recovery, Third Sector, Charity, Advice, Administration etc.
