Embrace Child Victims of Crime (CVoC) is looking for an exceptional individual who combines professional, commercial and political acumen to lead the Board of Trustees and help steer the organisation through the next stages of its development.
The next Chair will work closely with the Chief Executive and Board members to position Embrace CVoC as a leading national provider of emotional, practical and ‘cheer up’ support for young victims of serious crime and their families.
Working with partners in the public, private and voluntary sectors, Embrace has been developing a unique approach to supporting traumatised young people, offering a tailored package of support, including trauma-focused counselling.
We now need to build on this to ensure our services can meet demand and be readily accessed by children and young people. We don’t believe in waiting lists.
Interested? Then please forward your cv and covering letter explaining why you would be suitable to our HR advisor Peter Fanning at hr@embracecvoc.org.uk
Closing date is Friday 22 June. Interviews will be held in central London on 25 and 27 June.
The post is unremunerated. Travel and necessary out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed.
