Are you an experienced PA looking for a new opportunity, to work in a fast-paced and varied role?

We are delighted to be supporting The Operational Research Society, to recruit their new PA to support their Executive Director and their Committee

The successful candidate will split their time between supporting the Executive Director and providing Administrative support to an Association of the Society. Day to day duties of providing PA support will include scheduling meetings such as Board, Committee, staff and annual review meetings. You will manage annual governance activities such as identifying dates and actions for committee recruitment, returns to Charity Commission and Companies House, awards and invitations as well as preparing award certificates and compiling invitation lists. You will prepare papers for meetings as well as minuting and actioning items as well as supporting with Senior Management's to do list. The Administrative aspect of the role will include providing support to the Executive Committee Members of the Associate organisation, engaging with people internationally, as well as posting regular updates on social media, responding to queries, and assisting with annual awards and events.

To be considered for this role it is essential to have demonstrable experience of providing multiple and one to one PA or Executive Support at Chief Executive or Senior Management level. This roles requires someone with excellent written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to juggle and split your time between two roles. It is essential to have experience of taking minutes, preparing papers, as well as providing administrative support. The placed candidate will be highly organised who thrives from being part of a team. Ideally you will have previous experience of dealing with people internationally, and knowledge of operational research is desirable. Educated to degree level or equivalent is highly desirable.

Flexibility to travel to other parts of the UK will be required.
