Our client, a leading Arts  venue in Central London is looking for a Head of Finance. This role is a key role in helping to drive the financial effectiveness of the organisation to ensure this happens.

Reporting to the CFO, the Head of Finance will be responsible for managing and developing a finance team of 6 staff, improving the delivery of management information across the organisation, leading on the annual budgeting and re-forecasting process and reviewing and improving financial processes, controls and systems. There is a particular emphasis in this role of optimising the use of systems in the organisation, which has recently implemented SAP Business One.

You will be a qualified accountant with substantial experience of financial and management accounting, budgeting and planning. You will be equally comfortable in delivering top-quality financial information to stakeholders outside finance as applying strong technical knowledge to annual and monthly reporting and improving the operation of the finance department itself. You will be a change agent with the ability to respond to the evolving needs of the organisation and team, and an outstanding project manager who will be able to embed improvements in systems and reporting processes.

It goes without saying that you will have excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage budget-holders and other key personnel across the business. You will also be a strong leader with the ability to manage and develop staff.
