We are working on behalf of a disability charity based in Surrey who are hoping to employ a Challenge & Special Events Manager. You will be responsible for delivering an amazing challenge, special events and community fundraising programme, continually looking at new opportunities to grow income.

Key responsibilities for this post holder:
-Play a pro-active role in the growth and development of the fundraising programme, particularly focusing on the challenge and special income streams.
-Work alongside the marketing and communications teams to ensure all external communications are in line with the strategy and best represent the organisation and their aims.
-Establish and manage budgets.
-Manage all of the organisation's events from planning, marketing to delivering the events.
-Review the current events programme and identify opportunities for development and new events to add to the programme.
-Maintain a robust stewardship programme to maximise income.

Key criteria for applicants:
-Previous experience in events and/or special events position is essential.
-Fundraising database experience.
-Experience in events supporter recruitment and implementing effective stewardship programmes is essential.
-IT literate including Microsoft Office applications Excel, Word etc.
-Strong team player and distinguished communication skills.
