Finance and Operations Manager
Friends Provident Foundation is a small, independent, endowed charity based in the historic city of York - with a big ambition to build a fair economy and better world.
We have an exciting new opportunity for a Finance and Operations Manager to work strategically across our programme of grant-giving and investment. This is a new role, focused on business improvement, to manage our finances and to oversee our corporate governance and risk management.
We are looking for someone with strong financial and management skills, who has experience of managing people and resources and an empathy with our values and mission. You will hold an accountancy qualification with a minimum of two years’ financial management experience, or equivalent. You should love to work creatively as part of a team to maximise the impact of available resources on our mission. The role involves occasional travel within the UK.
