Amnesty International UK (AIUK) protects individuals wherever justice, fairness, freedom and truth are denied. The work of our Finance and Data Analysis team is vital in supporting the wider organisation, enabling us to put our funds to the best possible use.

About the role

Reporting in to the Head of Finance, you’ll be responsible for keeping the organisation running smoothly – taking the lead on our finance database and ancillary software, ensuring that the integrity of our financial data is maintained. You will be responsible for the production of monthly management accounts, and writing finance reports for the management and boards of Amnesty International UK. You will lead on budgeting and forecasting, liaising with budget holders across the organisation, and act as a business partner to advise on and appraise financial plans and proposals.

About you

You will have strong accounting skills, grounded within a recognised accounting qualification or substantial experience, and a good understanding of financial software and systems. Excellent communication skills are a must, enabling you to communicate financial information across all levels of the organisation in addition to the ability to anticipate and identify stakeholder requirements. With staff reporting into this post, previous line management experience would also be an advantage.
