The University of Warwick seeks an exceptional individual for this key position within the University’s Development Office. The Prospect Research Manager will be responsible for developing, coordinating and implementing a prospect research strategy that informs and underpins the understanding of Warwick alumni and other potential donors to the University.

The University of Warwick is one of the most successful young universities in the UK. Its Development Office is on a similar trajectory. With the appointment of Matt Ferguson as its new Director of Development, the team has been challenged to reenergise philanthropy and raise the funds needed to take its students and the institution to the next level.

This new post is critical to the future success of the Development Office. Research, data and insight form the backbone of the Development Office.Without them, the University cannot reach the people it needs or shape the way it engages with them. Given the spotlight on research, data and privacy worldwide, the Prospect Research Manager will also play a critical role in shaping the University’s approach to compliance with ethical fundraising and Data Protection standards - and in developing policies in this area.

Candidates will ideally have experience of research methodologies, knowledge of how prospect research supports and drives fundraising, extensive experience of data handling and using one or more response databases. Strategic thinking, creativity, an innovative approach and a passion and commitment to the aims and objectives of the University of Warwick are all prerequisites.
