Our client are dedicated to supporting people with learning disabilities to live the lives they want to. They are a national charity providing person-centred support across the whole of England and Scotland. Position: Support Manager 
Location: Dover, Kent (commutable from Folkestone) 
Contract type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 37.5 hours per week 
Salary: £27,255.03 per annum

About the Role: 

They have a rewarding opportunity for a Support Manager who is experienced in managing services for people with a learning disability, autism and other associated health needs. 

Able to support teams to develop and work in a consistent way, you will support them to ensure they are confident and skilled through on the job development, feedback through regular one to ones, training and coaching. 

You will take great pride in ensuring that your services exceed the standards required and meet all CQC regulatory requirements or SCI for services in Scotland. 

Support Managers will also take part in an on-call rota to ensure that their staff have access to support when it is needed.

About You: 

You will be an experienced manager (or have held a previous managerial or supervisory role) within the social care sector. You will have previous experience of successfully managing and leading a team, effectively motivating them to ensure and maintain delivery of a high quality support service. 

Highly organised and self-driven, you will be able to work flexibly and hold a full UK driving licence as you may need to provide on call support and assistance when required. 

Underpinning all of the above will be your knowledge of the sector and your values. You’ll have completed, or be willing to work towards a Health and Social Care Diploma, Level 5 qualification. 

Above all else you’ll be patient, positive and have a good sense of humour!
