Special Events Officer
TPP is proud to be partnering with a leading health charity to recruit for a Special Events Officer on a 6-month contract with the possibility of extension. The charity is currently going through a rebrand after merging with another health charity of the same cause. They currently have a significant awareness campaign in the media.
The role will involve organising a special event (cultivation) for around 200 guests highlighting the successes of the two charities and the vision for them working together under one brand. The role will involve all aspects of logistics including choosing a venue. You will be expected to lease with trustees and the board. The event is expected to take place at the end of August or beginning of September.
To apply for the role, you will have significant event experience and be able to hit the ground running. You will be competent at building long term relationships with high level internal and external stakeholders. Finally, you will be highly organised and able to adapt or respond to unforeseen situations effectively.
This is a fantastic time to join the charity which is going through an exciting rebrand and currently benefiting from a major PR/Media campaign. The charity is based in brand new offices in Farringdon ideal for commuters.
