Senior Partnership Development Manager – Up to £48k. London. Full time, permanent.

Our client is a well-known children’s charity seeking someone to assist in developing a UK wide strategy to secure profitable new corporate partnerships.

You will help formulate the New Business Strategy and Operating plan in order to proactively seek out and secure relevant Corporate Partners who are reflective of the client’s brand values and by working together can help to deliver on the client’s purpose. Your main responsibilities will be to nurture and develop relationships with agreed, targeted companies to maximise both income and charity profile. You will proactively lead and manage the development of new business proposals and grow existing business in order to maximise income, support and awareness for the client through an effective business development strategy. You will collaborate across teams and departments to ensure effective delivery of corporate partnership objectives and financial targets. Working in partnership with Partnership Managers, develop Partnership plans to achieve income budgets and manage and motivate direct reports to achieve shared aims and agreed objectives.

You will require experience of working in a demanding and profit driven corporate/business, fundraising, sales or marketing environment. You will have proof of developing and building profitable client/donor relationships within large and complex organisations/companies. With a proven track record in developing, implementing and managing account plans and delivering financial targets. Previous experience of managing a small team would be an advantage. And excellent experience of managing high value and complex partnerships.
