Departmental Office Administrator
Our client, one of London's leading higher education establishments, is currently looking to recruit a temporary Departmental Office Administrator to assist with various administrative duties across the professional services department, as well as to provide key front of house service and delivery.
The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the department and act as the main point of contact to students and visitors. As the Departmental Office Administrator you will be the first point of contact for students and staff, dealing with a range of queries both face-to-face and on the telephone. You will also support the day-to-day administration of the team, ensuring the smooth running of the department. This includes diary management, undertaking basic maintenance and assisting with departmental recruitment exercises.
In order to be considered for this post, you will need to have previous administrative or reception experience within a higher education environment along with excellent IT and communication skills. With the ability to work independently and proactively, you will have the confidence to deal with a wide variety of people, prioritise competing deadlines and comprehend complex situations quickly.
