Prospectus is delighted to be partnering with a progressive cancer charity to support them in their search for a Data Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a new role which is ideal for an engaging and pragmatic individual with statistical data reporting experience, who will be encouraged to bring new ideas and creativity to this changing landscape. The Data Coordinator will be responsible for leading on and maintaining the collection and reporting of data from the division, and will support the analysis of this data to ensure that the charity's primary objectives are achieved. They will also act as a data champion through the division to help ensure that all members of its staff are utilising data in the most effective and efficient manner possible. Finally, the Data Coordinator will work with senior stakeholders across the organisation to communicate findings and identify better methods to streamline data collection processes.
It is expected that you will be adding values in the following areas:
- Leading on data report production and analysis support for the division to enable the management team to make both operational and strategic decisions
- Coordinating the management of data to ensure that reports remain effective through development work and business changes
- Representing the division at Data Community meetings and collaborating effectively with other divisions
The successful candidate will have excellent communications skills with proven experience within a previous data role. You will be able to analyse big raw data sets from various sources and effectively communicate logical and pertinent interpretations to a variety of target audiences, from peers to specialist stakeholders. You must possess a natural numerical ability and be a forward thinking, adaptable and intuitive problem solver. Experience with Tablaeu and Alteryx are beneficial, however, training can be provided.
