CASW celebrated as one year old on the 1st April 2018, as the recently merged services of Warwick and Stratford upon Avon and Districts became CASW.
Together we have a significant track record of developing services that support those with complex advice needs and that ‘reach out’ to the most vulnerable and excluded in our community. Last year, we helped nearly 9,000 people with around 35,000 problems.
1 or 2 days per week, 7.5 - 15 per week based in Stratford District
The role is paid currently at £22,658 FTE
(subject to a service job evaluation exercise)
CASW is looking to recruit an Outreach Worker for the Stratford-upon-Avon District area, working from one or two outreach offices locations as required across Stratford District, with a central base at 25 Meer Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, CV37 6QB for one or two days per week.
The role includes Interviewing clients booked for appointments at partner outreach venues. You will be sensitive with good listening and questioning skills in order to allow clients to explain their problem(s) and empower them to set their own priorities. Use the Citizens Advice Information System to find, interpret and communicate the relevant information. Research and explore options and implications so that clients can make informed decisions.
