Position: Dementia Support Worker 
Location: Cambridge 
Contract type: Permanent 
Hours: 28 per week 
Salary: £16,276 per annum (actual)

About the role: 

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of dedicated staff providing tailored information and support to people affected by dementia, helping them to live well and maintain independence in the community. We provide person centred information and support through a variety mediums including over the phone, face-to-face and in writing. 

This role will be based in our Stow office predominately servicing our single point of access telephone service to provide person centred information and support, receive referrals and signpost to other services in the community. 

The post holder will liaise with other members of team to ensure a timely and effective response. In addition to operating the single point of access you will provide support face-to-face at various community hubs and home visit where and when required. This requires the post holder to be able to travel independently 

About you:

Your ability to assess client needs along with the understanding of the need for client confidentially is essential to providing a quality service.
