About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Special Events Executive to join our small talented team. In this role you will support the team to deliver a series of stewardship and cultivation events for the Philanthropy and Partnership team, working on The Beating Hearts Ball, our annual fundraising gala.
You will take responsibility for the Special Event hotline, dealing with supporter's queries and work across all events in the team, which include dinners, drink receptions and breakfast briefings. You will take responsibility for key areas within each event to help the team to achieve their ambitious fundraising targets, as such you will have strong administration experience and the ability to support a fast-paced team.
To be successful in the role you will have event experience within a similar industry or have worked on a large scale event such as a fundraising gala. You'll be customer focussed individual with the ability to work under pressure. You will need excellent organisation and time management skills, an eye for detail and the ability to use your own initiative.
You will be IT literature and have ideally have experience of using databases such as OneCRM or Raiser's Edge.
