Our client is a charity dedicated to supporting people with a learning disability lead independent lives with opportunity and choice where their rights are respected. They provide a range of services in Coventry and Oxford which help people with a learning disability to live their life to the full. 

Position: Support Worker 
Locations: Banbury (Commutable from Twyford, Adderbury, Kings Sutton, Overthorpe, Warkworth, Milton, Bloxham, Aynho, Barford St Michael, Croughton, Somerton, Fritwell, Deddington) 
Contract type: Permanent- Full and Part Time hours available including sleep ins 
Hours: Up to 37 hours per week 
Salary: £8.59 to £9.39 per hour

About the Role: 

Supporting several vulnerable adults to lead independent lives in their own home, this role would suit anyone of any age with a caring nature. Your primary duty will be helping to improve the daily lives of their Citizen’s, and will include providing personal care, administering medication, accompanying Citizens to appointments, supporting with shopping, booking holidays, and taking part in activities, the list is endless! 
About You: 

They are looking for the right people who will be patient, have a good sense of humour and will be able to support people through good and bad days and they do not require them to have previous experience in this area. They are looking for people who are committed to supporting the people they work with and who are honest and reliable, who can be creative and flexible in their approach, encouraging people to grow and develop and who are passionate about training to achieve the best for their Citizens and themselves. 

No experience is required, all they ask is that you are flexible and want to support people to be part of the community. 

This post will be subject to an enhanced DBS check
