Fundraising Manager 

Our client is an ambitious and growing independent national charity which provides a fresh start for people affected by imprisonment. They are highly respected for their innovation and creativity, and their commitment to enabling people to achieve meaningful positive change in their lives. 

Position: Fundraising Manager 
Location: Central Office, London (SE5) 
Contract: Full time, Permanent 
Hours: 37.5 per week 
Salary: £30,000 gross per annum

About the role: 

You will be a member of a small friendly team, reporting to the Head of Supporter Relations, with access to the CEO and Trustees. You will recruit and motivate people to support their vital work through regular giving, and in addition, you will work with their Volunteering Manager to promote opportunities to faith communities to actively make a difference. In addition to their core support base, you will also broaden our support from other audiences, support their Marathon runners, and over time, develop other income streams. You will work closely with their Trusts Fundraiser, Team Administrator, Communications Manager, Finance team and others. You will play a vital role in securing essential core funding to support children whose parents are in prison, and other family members, who are often the only real source of support for people who want to make a fresh start after prison and live crime free lives. 

You will undergo a thorough induction process, have the opportunity to attend training events and be supported by a friendly enthusiastic team. 

About you: 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, proactive and driven individual to join a growing, respected charity working in over 60 prisons and in communities across England and Wales. You will have fundraising experience and an ability to engage with their traditional supporter base in the Catholic community.

You will have the ability to work sensitively & with integrity to grow their supporter base particularly amongst people motivated by their faith. With their 120th Anniversary campaign set to start in September 2018, and their annual Prisoners’ Sunday appeal set for October, now is an exciting time to join this ambitious, pioneering charity.
