Position: Head of Stroke Support Scotland 
Location: Home based or Edinburgh 
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 35 hours per week 
Salary: circa £36,000 per annum

About the role: 

They are looking for a dynamic and creative individual with experience of working with people affected by stroke to join their team at an exciting stage of growth of their work in Scotland. 

About you: 

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and a track record of working in a proactive and creative way to plan and deliver community support working with people living with stroke, leading and developing staff and volunteers. 

You will be educated to degree level or have relevant demonstrable industry experience and have a sound understanding of the Scottish health and social care policy environment, excellent management and communication skills. 

The role will require travel across Scotland, and there is an option to be home based. 

The ability to drive and use of a car with business cover are essential for this role. 

You may have experience of the following: Head of Stroke, Service Manager, Head of Stroke Support, Operations Manager, Head of Operations, Business Manager, Project Manager, Project Management, Commercial Manager, Charity, Charities, Third Sector, NFP, Not for Profit etc.
