This organisation is a leading children's charity that supports young people across the UK.


The key responsibilities of this Senior Programme Funding Manager will be:

  • Take a lead on developing new fundraising propositions for corporate partners and high net worth individuals
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the charity to scope and develop new propositions
  • Work with stakeholders to identify funding gaps and work to match them with potential funders
  • Ensure all programme propositions are as attractive as possible with all key elements of programme content, reporting and analysis in place
  • Work with finance colleagues to ensure accurate pricing models for programmes to ensure they are both attractive and sustainable
  • Ensure the brand and fundraising teams are working closely and are equipped with sufficient information to produce engaging materials for funders
  • Continuously look for current programmes and prospective supporters that have an opportunity for growth
  • Work closely with colleagues across fundraising to support growth ambitions
  • Ensure accurate reporting and analysis systems are in place for effective delivery of programmes
  • Line management of 1 Officer


The person specification for this Senior Programme Funding Manager is:

  • Excellent relationship building and management skills
  • Ability to liaise with senior stakeholders and influence at this level
  • Collaborative working style and excellent problem solver attitude
  • Ability to quickly understand complex programmes and how to match them with potential funders
  • Understanding of both programme delivery and funding
  • Ability to create compelling propositions for high net worth and corporate funders
  • Highly numerate, with the ability to condense complex information into accessible formats, tailored to the needs of individuals
  • Flexible and proactive approach to project based work and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Job Offer

This organisation is looking to offer a salary of between £43,000 and £46,000.
