Division Director - Regional Programme for Europe

The Regional Programme for Europe (OSIFE) is part of the Open Society Foundations (OSF). OSF is a global network of foundations committed to local knowledge and national expertise, and including national foundations, regional foundations, and other geographic programmes operating in more than one hundred countries. OSIFE works at national, local and pan-European level to support European progress towards open society goals though grant making, convening, advocacy and research mainly, and supports OSF’s foundations and thematic programmes to achieve their Europe-focused strategies.
OSF currently seeks a Division Director to lead the OSIFE Participation & Accountability Unit, which is a grant making team, composed of three Senior Programme Officers and four Specialists focusing on the European human rights and civil liberties field, and more specifically topics of transparency, new democratic practices and effective activism in Europe.
The Division Director is responsible for exercising leadership, contributing to the effective functioning of the programme overall, and building partnerships with others working across Europe for similar objectives.
