Our client is an organisation that provides a range of housing and varied support services to vulnerable people. Their aim is to support people in achieving their full potential. They are currently going through a large period of growth and have a vacancy for a Support Worker. 

Position: Support Worker 
Location: Manchester 
Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Sunday on a rota basis throughout the year 
Salary: £18,385 
Benefits: 26 days’ annual holiday rising a day a year for the first 5 years + bank holidays, Life Assurance, Pension scheme and an Employee Health Assistance Programme. Professional development opportunities and flexible working arrangements.

About the Role: 

They are looking to recruit a full time Support Worker within Manchester. The Service provides support, accommodation and intensive training modules to help the 26 single homeless young men using the Service between 16-30 years old to achieve their full potential. 

You will need to be creative and innovative and enjoy working in a challenging /changing environment, if this is you and you have experience working with homeless clients and are able to help them develop life skills through a structured programme then they would like to hear from you 

About You: 

You will need to be creative and innovative and enjoy working in a challenging /changing environment. You will be patient and understanding, caring and motivational, you will hold a caseload of clients and support their progress during their time with the Service. 

You will be diverse within your support, able to work independently as well as part of a team and be committed to giving each of their Service users the best possible support network. 

You will be flexible in your approach understanding that you need to meet the needs of the individual. 

A Disclosure and Barring Service Enhanced Certificate will be required for these roles.
