As part of a redeveloped leadership team we are seeking a Director of Fundraising and Community Engagement.  In this broad role s/he will both maximise our fundraising opportunities and ensure our community are supported well to support us. On the back of a newly completed fundraising review, the Director will increase our £21million income for both our revenue and capital schemes, particularly building on our major donor opportunities and continuing to develop our legacy offering. S/he will also ensure our community is professionally supported so they can dedicate their much needed time, money and resources as they wish. As part of an ambitious senior leadership team, the Director will work strategically with peers to ensure the organisation continues to deliver exceptional and relevant services.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of increasing income, within sales or fundraising environments, through relationship based approaches. You will be a strategic and ambitious senior leader with change management experience, who enjoys working across the organisation and leading and coaching ambitious and dedicated teams. You will have successful experience of working with people at all levels to secure their buy in and commitment and most importantly will share our values to make a positive impact on the lives of our community.
