Legacy Officer (FTC)
Are you a Legacy Officer or Estates Administrator looking for your next contract position in West Sussex?
I am working with a commercially minded charity which has recently gone through a period of growth and are looking to strengthen the team, due to the work load.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Representing the charity in all related communications with solicitors, charities and members of the public.
*The administration of case load as assigned, ensuring that these are dealt with efficiently, legacy income maximised, and charity receives its full entitlement.
*Maintaining quality control over the input of information onto the legacy ledger and database, ensuring relevant data capture is accurate and complete, as well as follow a rigorous file review and closure process.
*Liaising with other beneficiaries where necessary to resolve problems, reduce costs and ease winding up of estates.
The successful candidate will need the ability to communicate to external stakeholders including co-beneficiaries. A proven success in working in legacy administration of an equivalent function and experience of working in legacy or probate department is necessary. Our client is always happy to talk around some flexibility on hours for the right candidate and they are open to candidates from any sector as they will provide training.
