Corporate Fundraising Exec
We are looking for a confident and talented executive to join our Corporate Partnerships team and help seek out new support from businesses as well as support the account management of existing corporate partnerships.
The development of our corporate fundraising function is a key part of our income growth strategy. We are looking for a confident and talented individual to join our Corporate Partnerships team and help seek out new support from businesses as well as support the account management of existing corporate partnerships.
This is a new role within our fundraising team and a great opportunity to gain significant experience within corporate partnerships and the third sector. You will make a real impact in an extraordinary children’s hospice charity based in Oxford.
The role is responsible for support with identifying, prospecting and growing corporate relationships. You will ensure that each relationship is developed to maximise its full potential and you will represent the organisation to corporate supporters. In addition, you will produce partnership proposals and pitch for support in collaboration with the corporate partnerships manager. Ideally you will have gained some experience of working within a corporate fundraising role but candidates who have developed corporate relationships in the commercial sector and have a proven track record in partnership acquisition would also be of interest.
Desirable skills but not essential:
- Experience of securing high value partnerships in a not for profit organisation or in a commercial environment.
- Knowledge of the principles corporate fundraising, sponsorship and strategic partnerships.
- Excellent relationship management skills and be able to connect the funding needs of the charity with the objectives of corporate partners.
- An enthusiastic attitude to learning and development in a new role.
- Ability to write, present and pitch for support in a professional manner to potential corporate supporters.
- Ability to work closely with and support another member of staff in achieving objectives.
