Prospectus is proud to be partnering with one of the UK's leading health charities to secure their new Community Fundraising Manager. This organisation is the largest UK charity bringing individuals, families and health professionals together to beat a variety of rare health conditions. They support over 70,000 people each year through research, education and support.
The Community Fundraising Manager will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of volunteers and supporters within the community, in the region of London and the surrounding suburbs. Always looking to recruit new volunteers and supporters, the Community Fundraising Manager will build positive relationships with them and motivate them to take part in various events and fundraise for them. The Community Fundraising Manager will work with the Head of team to develop a regional development strategy, and also manage and deliver an income and expenditure budget.
The successful Community Fundraising Manager will have experience in developing volunteer fundraising networks, and ideally experience of working within charity events. A largely field-based role, the Community Fundraising Manager will need to be self-motivated and flexible in their approach to working hours and travel around the city.
