Senior Fundraising Executive - Corporate
TPP is currently partnering with a leading Carers charity to recruit for a permanent Senior Fundraising Executive (Corporate) paying £28,746 based in London.
The charity helps support the millions of unpaid carers across the UK. They have various programmes in place which include identifying and supporting young carers in schools to helping adult carers get back into formal employment. They also have a grants programme which helps fund local services and rest bite breaks.
You will spend around 60% of your time managing the charities corporate accounts. This will include a popular lottery fund which has pledged to raise £100k every year for the next 5 years. You will also manage a NHS funded limited company which plans to raise £30k over the next two years. A large part of this will come from a long-distance cycle event (£17k roughly). You will also manage some other smaller accounts. When not engaging and enthusing current partners, you will be focusing on bringing in new business through researching, canvassing, networking and meeting potential prospects. The target for this current year across the corporate team is roughly just over 1 million (£750k already pleaded) and £300k to be developed through new business or other means.
To be successful in this role you will have experience of corporate fundraising. You will be energetic and enthusiastic in the way you communicate with prospects. You will have excellent communication skills both written and oral. Finally, you will be a team player and able to work collaboratively across the organisation.
