A charity are looking for a Strategic Project Manager (Supporter Management) to lead on strengthening and managing the processes, information and prospect pipelines that drive high value income.
Using interpersonal and project management skills the post holder will support fundraisers and proactively steer business development projects. Working alongside two Prospect Research Officers, you will provide tailored donor insight, and liaise with senior colleagues to establish, embed and champion new ways of working across the Fundraising & Engagement Department.
-With the Manager, make a significant contribution to developing and driving forward the Prospect Research team strategy and processes for supporting the growth of high value income from individuals and organisations.
-Lead on strategic projects that champion a culture of flexibility towards donor management to meet business needs, and implement practical solutions to ensure best fit with pipelines across the Fundraising & Engagement Department.
-Work effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including providers of research resources, to ensure prospect research activities serve their insight requirements and are compliant with data protection and due diligence policies.
-Deliver prospect research, identify new fundraising opportunities and conduct activities which generate donor insight
-Proactively devise, agree and deliver strategic, integrated projects that strengthen prospect identification, management and research across the Fundraising & Engagement Department.
Work with senior colleagues across the organisation to maximise relationships with supporters. Identifying potential fundraising opportunities, delivering high quality research, co-ordinating work and streamlining business reporting requirements.
-Carry out research through a range of sources in order to contribute to donor strategies, business systems development and benchmarking of Fundraising activity.
-Be the key contact for prospect research suppliers, ensuring appropriate agreements are in place and that goods/services are delivered as agreed.
Skills and Experience required:
-Proven ability to build, manage and develop relationships with individuals and teams and achieve objectives through these relationships.
-Proven ability to plan, implement and monitor projects/initiatives to agreed deadlines, often with conflicting priorities.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills to deal effectively with internal and external stakeholders
-Strong ability to collect data from various sources, analyse findings, identify opportunities, evaluate their viability and present the information clearly in a way that drives strategy.
-A proven track record of business improvement or project management in maximising results for an organisation.
-Experience of impactful provision of prospect research or customer insight in a customer focussed environment.
-Experience in using supporter or customer databases and Microsoft Office
