Corporate Partnerships Manager
We keep winning new partnerships!....We are a really great premise, winning both large and smaller partners, strategic and employee fundraising, but we REALLY need someone to manage them who will enjoy taking the helm and continuing to take our programme forward. We may not be a huge charity, but most of our senior staff come from large charities and we hope we know how to do things for the benefit of our partners and the people we support. We are really ambitious and can offer you so many opportunities to take your career forward, perhaps more than in a large corporate team. which won't preclude you at all from working for one of the bigger teams again in your career.
We are looking for someone who is as happy doing the strategic stuff as shaking a bucket and is really hungry for every experience available. It's a big and responsible job, but we are most definitely looking for the right person. And the great thing is, working for a new charity that is only 5 years old, you'll be able to say you've done things which haven't been done before.

As the principal corporate fundraiser, and in partnership with the Director of Fundraising and a consultant who currently manages the new business side of the corporate fundraising income to bring in new relationships, you will work alongside them, inputting your creativity, strategic and relationship skills to plan and maximise existing and potential partnerships with significant partners.
We are looking for a confident, highly motivated individual with proven experience of managing, retaining and growing successful, high level corporate partnerships in the not for profit sector, and possessing the ability to think creatively and commercially.
The Silver Line is the UK’s only free, confidential, 24-hour helpline for vulnerable and isolated older people available every day and night of the year. 90% of callers live alone, 51% of callers say they have no one else to speak to, 36% of callers are men, a traditionally hard to reach group and the percentage of callers aged over 90 is almost twice the proportion in the UK population, uncovering an epidemic of loneliness amongst the UK's older population, which can lead to poor physical as well as mental health. Since launching nationally in November 2013 it has received almost 1.5m calls to its helpline office with a staff of 170, and the number of calls continues to rise. It has also recruited and trained over 4000 volunteers as Silver Line Friends who make weekly calls to older people, or exchange a letter.
