Project Manager – Inclusion Works
Sightsavers has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with demonstrable development experience to lead the operational management of the Inclusion Works programme, which focuses on improved livelihoods and economic empowerment of people with disabilities, across sub Saharan Africa and South Asia
Reporting to the Policy & Programme Strategy, Programme & Operations Director, you will be responsible for the management of the programme team and will work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders, delivering a successful co-creation process for the Inclusion Works project.. You will have sound experience of project management and understand all aspects of a project lifecycle.
The successful candidate will lead on the delivery of the Inclusion Works project ensuring objectives are met, delivered on budget and against agreed timeframes, reporting progress to the donor and other key partners. As such, you will be a confident communicator with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders in order to gain consensus around project management systems and processes.
The ideal candidate will hold a project management qualification or have equivalent experience with a strong grasp of inclusion. Experience of delivering multi-country projects is advantageous as is strong influencing skills and knowledge of the international development sector.
A willingness to travel up to 20 weeks per year on various trips globally is essential.
