Deputy Service Manager (Ref: WA14)

22.5 hours per week

£40,428 - £48,514 per annum, pro rata (AfC Band 8a)

Based: Warrington

The post of Deputy Service Manager is based within the Warrington IAPT and Step 4 service, which promotes access to psychological interventions for people with mild to severe depression and anxiety related disorders.

We are seeking to employ a dynamic individual, who has previous management experience within a health care setting (statutory or non-statutory). You will possess in-depth knowledge of the aims and objectives of IAPT, as well as the key policy drivers and performance indicators.

You will have experience of managing staff including performance management and dealing with disciplinary action. The successful person needs to be able to work independently and make decisions, within area of authority, with the minimum of supervision. You will however be able to take instructions from other Managers.

It is essential that you are comfortable working to tight timescales and under pressure, within a frequently changing environment.

You must be able to contribute to the overall running of the service, suggesting innovative ideas and solutions to issues and be passionate about continuously improving the service offered to clients.

You must be able to demonstrate high levels of written and verbal communication and have experience of using a Clinical Data Recording system. You must be able to develop productive relationships throughout the organisation, as well as an ability to engage with external stakeholders and commissioners.
