We are looking to recruit a New Business Manager into our Corporate Partnerships team.
About the role
The New Business Manager is central to the success of the corporate partnerships team. You will play an instrumental role in developing world class relationships with leading UK businesses, building our portfolio of partnerships to deliver more funds for life-saving and life changing research in support of the fight for every heartbeat.
Reporting to the Head of New Business, you will be a highly motivated individual who possesses the ability to think creatively and behave entrepreneurially. Relishing the opportunity to pitch to some of the biggest companies in the world and able to demonstrate daily the drive to deliver new income generating partnerships in a highly competitive market, you will be curious in your researching of new prospects and tenacious in your networking into business.
You may currently be working in Account Management, Major Donor or New Business fundraising. Either way, we want someone with the ability to influence individuals within companies to support our vital work.
With excellent team building and communication skills you will be able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, selling our cause and the passion for our work in everything that you do. You'll have excellent organisational skills and be able to ensure key deadlines are met.
You will need to demonstrate success in your existing or previous roles with knowledge and understanding of Corporate Partnerships, Corporate Social Responsibility and/or the commercial sector and in return, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary, a unique benefits package and the knowledge that your hard work is bringing forward the day when people do not die prematurely or suffer from cardiovascular disease.
