As a Fundraising Manager you will

  • Ensure the UK fundraising team reach target via public fund donations
  • Devise a fundraising strategy to be approved by the senior management team
  • Ensure that the fundraising strategies, long term plans are developed and implemented.
  • Establish structure, processes, competencies and systems to ensure the Fundraising department is fully equipped to accelerate growth, establish a diversified and sustainable income base.
  • Explore and identify new donors and funding sources.
  • Strengthen the charities visibility at, and contributions to, public forums and major institutional stakeholders by forging new and improved relations and appropriate partnerships.
  • Lead on the development of systems, policies and procedures that guide the charities fundraising work and maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation.
  • Keep the charities relevant parties informed about major funding opportunities
  • Line manage and motivate a team of fundraising managers and officers across different fundraising functions.
  • Monitors and reports fundraising progress against the annual income target
  • Monitors and evaluates fundraising activities (strategy, identification of potential donors, quality of applications, relationship building with donors) and report as required.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties that are consistent with the job and at its level of responsibility as and when required by the management.
  • Profile

    • A proven track record of fundraising with a real passion for working in the charity sect
    • Experience of managing staff and projects
    • Familiar with legal and regulatory issues relevant to fundraising, marketing and charitable giving
