Our client is the UK's leading dementia charity. They provide information and support, improve care, fund research, and create lasting change for people affected by dementia. 

Position: Dementia Voice Manager 
Location: Flexible location with regular travel to London 
Contract type: Permanent 
Hours: 35 per week 
Salary: £35,746 per annum (actual) - £39,742 per annum (actual) - Depending on Location 

Closing date: 5PM on Friday 20th April 
Interview date: Wednesday 2nd May (London) 

About the role: 

By 2022 they will offer everyone affected by dementia the opportunity to use their skills and experiences to influence what they do. 

They will involve people affected by dementia in all stages of their work, across their services – from making decisions with their leaders, to working with staff and volunteers locally. 

The post holder will manage a geographically dispersed team who will support the implementation of the Society’s New Deal on Dementia Voice across the nations, and promote the active involvement of people with dementia and carers in shaping the work of the Charity and wider health and social care environment. 

About you: 

You will have demonstrable success in managing a geographically dispersed team of staff and volunteers. 

You will have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of developing, delivering and evaluating user involvement activity and your excellent interpersonal and communication skills will assist you to embed a culture of working together with people affected by dementia at all levels of the organisation. 

This is an exciting time to join them as they launch their new and most ambitious 5 year organisational strategy and they need exceptional people to help turn up the volume on the voices of people affected by dementia.
