Unicef ensures more of the world’s children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. We have done more to influence laws and policies to help protect children than anyone else. We get things done. And we’re not going to stop until the world is a safe place for all our children.

The Direct Marketing team is responsible for recruiting and retaining support for Unicef’s work from individual members of the public. We do this using a wide range of media including face-to-face, print, DRTV, Outdoor, Radio and digital. We’re a fast-paced, friendly and supportive team where attention to detail and teamwork deliver award winning results.

We are currently recruiting for a Direct Marketing Executive to join our Acquisition team. In particular, you will manage fundraising quality and engagement across a range of media in order to engage and recruit new supporters. You will work with direct marketing suppliers and the inhouse face-to-face team to deliver campaigns and you will provide assistance to colleagues managing direct marketing appeals in response to humanitarian emergencies.

If you already have experience of managing direct marketing-based fundraising campaigns across a range of different media (particularly face-to-face) and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this role will offer you a great opportunity to learn and develop your existing skills.

To succeed, you should be skilled at managing multiple projects at the same time, and you should have experience of working with income and expenditure budgets. You will possess excellent communication skills to help you to build effective relationships with internal and external contacts in order to deliver campaigns that deliver results for children.

Act now and visit www.unicef.org.uk/jobs to apply online.

Closing date: 5pm, Wednesday 18 April 2018.
Interview date: Tuesday 1 May 2018.

This role is currently based in Farringdon.  From Summer 2018, Unicef UK will relocate to Stratford (zone 2).  Our new offices will be close to the new Crossrail station and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Stratford is also served by the Jubilee and Central Lines, DLR, London Overground, TFL Rail and National Rail services.

We welcome applications from a diverse range of people, respecting and drawing on different perspectives, skills, experience and knowledge.

The successful candidate will be required to apply for a criminal records check. A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us. This will depend on the nature of the role and the circumstances of your offences.

We only accept online applications as this saves us money, making more funds available for us to help ensure children’s rights. CVs will not be accepted.

If you require support in completing the online form or an application form in an alternative format, please contact Supporter Care on 0300 330 5580 during office hours.

If you do not hear from us within 14 days of the closing date, please assume your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Please note that we only provide feedback to shortlisted candidates.
