About the role:
You will be required to lead the successful delivery of our clients Marketing and Communications strategies including improved impact of their digital and media work.
You lead and manage the Marketing & Communications team to ensure that they maximise its brand position and its impact amongst key audiences
Management of a large talented Marketing & Communications team (19 people)
Responsibility for managing the Marketing & Communications budget.
Proven track record of running a successful marketing function and using marketing techniques to improve communications
Excellent project management skills
Proven track record of ensuring excellent standards in creative design
Proven track record of ensuring external communications reach key audiences and achieve organisational aims
Extensive experience of working in a challenging news and media environment
A proven understanding of digital strategy and the use of digital tools to achieve organisational objectives
Proven ability to manage high profile relationships
Experience of managing a team to deliver results and excellence in individual people management
Excellent communication (both written and oral), influencing and analytical skills
Strong team player with track-record of working cross-organisationally
Ability to represent our client in meetings and on public platforms
