Fundraising Manager / Legacy / Charity / Wildlife
Middleton-by-Wirksworth, Derbyshire
Full Time
Permanent
£28,000 - £32,000 per annum

Our client is the only organisation in Derbyshire working to protect and
enhance wildlife and wild places throughout the county. They are a Registered Charity,
supported by more than 14,000 members.

They are currently seeking a Fundraising Manager to develop new and innovative fundraising opportunities which ensure that the Trust meets its strategic targets and objectives. You’ll lead on major fundraising opportunities, working closely with colleagues to prepare bids for a range of funders and funding bodies along with gaining large contracts and securing income to support the delivery of our strategic priorities. You’ll lead on the Trust’s legacy giving initiatives, raising the profile of legacies to increase pledges along with growing Business Support and individual giving.

The successful candidate will have worked within a similar role previously, will be degree level qualified or equivalent, and will have a successful track record of substantial fundraising bids (£1 million+). Along with experience of gaining large contracts (£500k+) via competitive commissioning and / or tendering processes, you’ll have the ability to develop written cases for support and match them up to prospects and funders and you’ll be experienced in leading large, diverse partnerships. Knowledge of fundraising regulation and practices is essential and you’ll be a strong and inspiring leader who can lead by example, creating a committed and enthusiastic team.

If you are passionate about giving, have a talent for working in a flexible and creative way and have a pragmatic approach, we’d love to hear from you.

The closing date for this role is Wednesday 11th April.

Interviews will be held Tuesday 17th April.
