Membership and Communications Administrator
We are delighted to be partnering with The Skinners' Company to recruit their new Membership and Communications Administrator. The Skinners' Company is one of the 'Great Twelve' livery companies of London; it is a major not-for-profit organisation involved in running schools, sheltered housing and grant programmes for individuals, educational institutions, and a wide range of small organisations throughout the UK.
The post holder will be supporting the work of the Director of Membership and will also be working closely with the Education and Charities Officers and the Hall Manager. The primaryÂ focus of this position is to support the delivery of creative yet practical engagement to theÂ organisation's established membership base.
Main responsibilities in this post will include the development of the members and events sections of the website, maintenance of the database and taking responsibility for the organisation's social media presence. You will also be required to analyse membership data, create reports and get involved with complex event organisation to ensure successful delivery. You will be working with a wide range of stakeholders, sometimes very senior, to drive projects forward in a collaborative and measured way. Other duties will include the induction of new members and supporting the membership committee in drafting minutes and meeting documentation.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or hold an equivalent qualification in marketing or communications, together with some experience of working for a membership organisation, regulator or professional trade association.They will possess excellent time management skills, attention to detail and robust administrative abilities, and enjoy communicating at all levels including in writing. Social media savvy, they will beÂ comfortable using Wordpress and be capable of stewarding an organisation in this area in a constructive way.
