40 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, £21,961 - £23,871 per annum.
Starting salary will be subject to experience
We are looking for a Fundraiser to support our colleges, schools and new projects in the north of England, including a new Army Family Centre. Ideally based in either Sheffield or North Yorkshire, your remit would be to support Freeman College and Brantwood Specialist School in Sheffield/Derbyshire and Clervaux Trust in Darlington/North Yorkshire.
You will be a highly motivated and proactive fundraiser, with evidence of successful revenue and capital fundraising from Trusts and Foundations and statutory organisations. You would also support a small volunteer fundraising team at Clervaux Trust.
You would work in collaboration with the fundraising team across the Trust to identify and develop proposals and prepare compelling cases for support; researching potential funders, matching them with projects and writing applications. You will need excellent analytic, written, verbal, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. You must have experience of managing a diverse workload, and meeting strict deadlines. You will be adaptable and show initiative with high levels of personal, emotional and social intelligence.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating a difference to young people with disabilities, who has a flair for writing inspiring proposals, is great at building relationships with funders and maintains a positive attitude.
