Are you a marketer with extensive experience, particularly in product, brand and partnerships with a keen interest in consumer behaviour and health issues? Here is an excellent opportunity to lead a team to create and deliver targeted programmes that will reduce the health and social harms of alcohol.

Marketing & Partnership Director - £60,000-£80,000 - London

Our client is a respected London based, UK-wide alcohol-education charity, working in the health and wellness sector. They are looking for a Director of Marketing and Partnerships Activation to create and deliver targeted programmes to help people make better choices about their drinking.

To date, marketing has been based around advertising campaigns but, given our client's evolution towards and its commitment to behavioural insights and change, the marketing challenge is becoming broader and more complex.

Working with partners and funders presents further opportunities to extend our client's reach and impact; and with an impressive list of funders including all of the major supermarkets, alcohol brand producers and pub chains, it expects a significant part of its future impact to come from working alongside funders and understand the opportunities their channels may present. This requires a confident approach that may be more closely aligned to B2B marketing practice and that brings together B2B and B2C considerations.

Finally, as a digitally-led charity, our client is keen to harness the potential of its growing digital data both to provide consumer insight and to demonstrate its impact. Strong analytical skills will be needed as well as good collaborative working with the Content & Communications and Research teams.

To succeed you will need to be able to:

- Demonstrate a deep understanding of consumer attitudes and behaviour in relation to drinking alcohol and be constantly scanning the horizon for emerging trends and challenges
- Be adept at product development and monetising new and existing products, with a good commercial instinct
- Develop strategy with a focus on brand strategy and consumer insight
- Build successful relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Demonstrate effective partnership marketing achievements
- Optimise our use of digital data and communications
- Be curious and able to identify future opportunities
- Lead, motivate, develop and inspire a marketing team.
