Head of Fundraising and Development

Peterborough Cathedral Trust is the charitable arm of Peterborough Cathedral, and is responsible for raising funds to support the Cathedral’s fabric conservation, its outstanding Music Department and Choir (founded 1541) and its programme of outreach events. The latter involve not only practising Christians but also a wide range of other faiths and secular groups in the City of Peterborough and throughout Peterborough Diocese.

The Trust is nearing the end of a successful 6-year long £11 million capital fundraising campaign in support of projects marking the 900th Anniversary of the Cathedral. The finale event of the campaign takes place in October, and will honour the Commonwealth’s contribution to victory in 1918 as well as celebrating the building of the Cathedral in 1118.

The Trust has not previously employed a full-time Head of its Fundraising and Development department. It is now seeking an experienced fundraising professional to fill this new and challenging role.
