Eden Brown is delighted to be representing a fantastic health charity in their search for an Events Coordinator. This really is the perfect opportunity for an individual who is looking to gain experience in the charity sector. In the position of Events Coordinator you will play a vital role in managing the sign up, communications and admin for a portfolio of running events across the country, as well as attending on the day and running the registration area.

In your role as Events Coordinator your main duties will be:
-Liaising with event participants in the run-up to events, dealing with any registration issues or other queries. Ensuring that all event information is effectively and clearly passed on, and that all necessary information is collected
-Use database to manage participant information in order to send relevant communications and manage the fulfilment and distribution of race packs for participants
-Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is met throughout the customer journey
-Manage all admin associated with the event before, during and after to ensure that information is tracked, saved and reported amongst the team
-Liaising with all suppliers involved with the event and building and maintaining strong relationships with them
-Build and develop the fundraising element of the events by ensuring activity is carried out at the event to maximise income for the charity
-Recruiting and liaising with event day volunteers in the lead-up and on the event day
-Manage the set up and running of the registration area on the day of the events

To be considered for this role you will ideally come from an events/administration/fundraising background. You will be confident in building relationships and have the confidence and ability to motivate and inspire others. You will come with excellent organisational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. A flexible approach to working hours is essential as there will be regular weekend work with the opportunity to take time back in lieu. A full UK Driver's Licence is essential as the events will be located all over the UK.
