Learning and Development Lead (Fixed Term Contract)
Who are we?
We are a rapidly growing charity seeking to accelerate change for those affected by brain tumours, which kill more children and adults under 40 in the UK than any other cancer. Our five-year strategy is ambitious and sets out plans to double survival from brain tumours and halve the harm they cause to quality of life.
Our exciting job role!
In order to achieve our ambitious strategy, we need to build a team equipped with the necessary skills, knowledge and behaviours to deliver high performance in a fast paced, changing and sometimes challenging environment. In this new and exciting fixed term role, you will work closely with the Head of Talent, the leadership team and a tight budget, to shape, drive and embed a learning organisational culture across The Charity.
All that is needed to be successful in this role, is to ensure that the learning needs of the full team are captured, assessed and responded to, using a variety of learning interventions (mainly developed and delivered in-house) which are effective, memorable and measured for impact.
This is an initial 6 month fixed term contract, with potential to be extended and/or to be retained. The role is full time, however part time hours will be considered for exceptional candidates. You will be mainly based at our Farnborough office, but some homeworking will be considered.

According to the job description you should also be a creative, engaging and credible L&D professional, with exceptional interpersonal skills, high energy levels and the ability to inspire others, regardless of level or role. With experience of managing the end-to-end learning and development process, you will be capable of identifying training needs, building learning and development plans and developing learning interventions and materials that can be delivered in-house. - Salary c.£40,000 pa (dependent on experience)
